What Is The Best Gift For Yourself?

It’s the beginning of the year, and normally this is a time to make changes for the better. To me, this is the best gift for yourself. It is simply surrounding yourself with kind and loving people whenever you can.

Every day we are surrounded by a variety of different people. Some of the people we deal with on a daily basis are a joy to be with, and their loving presence encourages and nurtures and encourages our souls.

Unfortunately, others have the opposite effect, draining us of our energy, making us feel tired and exhausted.

Our well-being can be so easily influenced by those around us, and if we can keep this in mind, we will have greater insights into the quality of our social interactions and their energetic effect on us.

The idea that you are who you surround yourself with has lasted this long because it’s true. Use this information to achieve your dreams in business and in life. That is why is it important to surround yourself with good people?best gift for yourself

Why Surrounding Yourself With The Best People Is The Best Gift For Yourself

Once we think more deeply about the people we interact with, it becomes easier for us to work toward filling our lives with people who help us cultivate healthy and positive relationships.

Even though it might not always seem like we have much control over who we are with, we actually do. The power to step back from toxicity lies within us.

All we have to do is take a few moments to reflect on how another person makes you feel.

Assessing the people we spend the most time with allows us to see if they add something worthwhile to, or subtract from, our lives.

Should a friend sap our strength, for example, we can simply tell them how we feel or simply spend less time with them. We will find that the moment we are honest with ourselves about our own feelings, the more candid we can be with others about how they make us feel.

While this may involve some drastic changes to our social life it can bring about a personal transformation that will truly empower us, since the decision to live our truth will infuse our lives with greater happiness.

When we surround ourselves with positive people, this is the best gift for ourselves. We clear away the negativity that exists around us and we create more room to welcome nurturing energy.

Doing this not only enriches our lives but also envelopes us in a supportive and healing space that fosters greater growth, understanding, and love of ourselves as well as those we care about.

Why You Need To Surround Yourself With People Doing Better Than You

Did you know that you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with. If you spend your time with people who are doing worse than you, they will drag you down with them. It’s not about money either, and it pertains to any area you want to improve in your life. You can hang around the wealthiest people in the world, but if they are all disorganized and you’re trying to improve that skill, they will not help you in the least.

You have to surround yourself with people who want to dominate in the same areas you want to dominate. That is why you will have different groups of friends for different reasons. You could have a group you hang with for help being a good husband or wife, another group for happiness and positivity, and then another group for life skills.

The more you hang around these people who are excellent in these different areas of life, the more you will be dragged to their level. No one wants to be the worst of the worst in their circle of friends. They will naturally start to pull you up.

Analyze Your Group Of Friends

Most people tend to lean on their friends a lot. Friends are the people you want to share your successes and even your challenges with. You want them to be both supportive and encouraging.

You need a group of friends who won’t just support you but also challenge you to be the better version of yourself.

Evaluate your current circle of friends and analyze if they’re actually adding or taking away from your life. Make sure that everyone in your group can help you reach your goals. Avoid hanging out with people who are negative about life because there’s a huge chance that they will influence the way you think

  1. I agree that the majority of people we interact with are those with whom we share the most similarities. We may not notice it until later, but it is true. We are more likely to be angry when we are around negative, angry people. That is why it is critical to remove angry and negative people from our lives. The real question is, how do we deal with family members and the people we care about in our own lives? My family is wonderful, but they can be very negative at times. As a result, I try to avoid them because I don’t need them in my life. Love is the best love and gift I need in my life. Thank you so much for this wonderful article. This is a very useful article that I believe anyone could use. I will, without a doubt, share.

    1. Hi Kiersti,

Yes, it is definitely a little harder to avoid your family, but I suppose we can limit the time we spend in the company of the negative ones if we are aware.

  2. A lot of people do not know this but you need to spoil yourself too. We are always thinking of what to get for your partners or friends and family that we forget that we need to spoil ourselves too. I will definitely spoil myself seeing that my birthday is coming up real soon. Thanks for reminding me

  3. Negative energy has really become a big problem in our time and it’s not just limited to people around us. The media is not helping either as it’s full of fear.

While approaching the New Year I kept all moaners to text messages in order to protect my ear gates. I spoke to them when I became mentally ready to hear from them. Even the big book warns us to be careful how we hear. Families may be difficult to avoid but should be told how they make us feel.

    Thanks for an enlightening article.
