  1. I have osteoarthritis in one of my knees, and I saw that treating this was one of the top 10 uses for aromatherapy oil. Can you recommend what oil would be best for this and how to prepare it? I just ask, as I know sometimes they needed to be diluted in a certain way and might not be suitable for rubbing directly onto the skin at 100% concentration. I had wondered before why the oils are kept in brown bottles, so thanks for saying it’s to protect them from sunlight. Should the bottles still be kept away from direct sunlight as a precaution?

    1. Hi Mara,

Yes, keep your oils in a cupboard away from direct light if you want them to retain their healing properties for longer.

The top oils used to relieve osteoarthritis are peppermint, eucalyptus, ginger, lavender, cayenne pepper, rosemary, frankincense, and myrrh oils.

Try this for instance: Mix 5-10 drops of peppermint oil with 2 Tbsp warmed coconut oil to make a ready-to-use salve. It can be mixed with other oils in this selection to get a more potent anti-arthritic formulation. Use as often as needed for relief of pain.

  2. Thanks for this post concerning essential oils and its uses but I’ve never made use of essential oils. It seems to me from this post here right now that this is a great oil product but currently, I make use of CBD oil products though it has limited side effects. I would like to inquire if this essential oils are better than cbd oil? Though I would still research more on essential oil to know if its okay for me. Thanks

    1. I don’t think essential oils are as strong as cbd oil, but can have great health benefits if used properly. There are no side effects and it is a natural medicine source.

  3. Beautiful indeed and very informative article. This is very important for people who don’t like taking medicine.

There’s no more cause for people to complain. I love the ways people are developing different means of tackling the same issues. People spend so much to treat small problems such as these ones. But with more awareness like this, people can spend less and still achieve the same or even more beneficial results

I see that you didn’t provide links to where to buy these products. It will be great if you can provide links. Thank you
